The Lantern Trust
The Lantern Trust is a Weymouth-based charity dedicated to helping vulnerable and socially excluded people in the local community. They provide essential support to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and other challenging circumstances, with the aim of improving lives and fostering independence.
The Lantern Trust approached us with the goal of producing an Impact Report that would clearly communicate the charity’s achievements and the difference they make in the community. They wanted the report to be both creative and visually engaging, while also being results-driven, evidence-based, and informative. The document needed to capture the human stories behind their work as well as the measurable outcomes, creating a balance between emotional connection and factual reporting.
Solution
We designed and produced a printed A4 Impact Report that combined key statistics, powerful photography, and real stories of personal journeys from service users. To ensure the report reflected the full scope of the Lantern Trust’s work, we incorporated messages and reports from the management team, alongside clear data and infographics to show the tangible results achieved. The design was carefully crafted to align with the charity’s identity, making the report accessible, engaging, and memorable.
Outcome
The final Impact Report successfully delivered the blend of creativity and substance that the Lantern Trust was looking for. It became a valuable tool for communicating their achievements to stakeholders, funders, and the wider community. Following the success of the initial project, we have now worked with the Lantern Trust for the past three years to produce their annual Impact Reports, building a trusted partnership that continues to help them share their story and demonstrate their impact year after year.
