Get your shirt together!

In the Digital Storm office it was a far cry from a miserable blue Monday. Instead it was filled with laughter as everyone turned up to work wearing brightly coloured, yet hideous, Hawaiian shirts!

The reason… It was a dress code for many agencies based in Bournemouth and Poole. A concept devised by Maddie Crawford, 19, to raise awareness of mental heath and promote the charity Dorset Mind.

Maddie came up with the idea while unwell last summer. Get Your Shirt Together aims to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental health.

Around 15 agencies took part and over £1000 was raised. We were proud of taking part in this great awareness raising event. To capitalise on the fun vibe we had a fun photo shoot in which we loved the fact that we could pretend to do some surfing on the table along with striking a charlies angles pose. Curtis provided a good laugh by wearing a girls floral shirt rather than a real Hawaiian shirt.

So much for the most depressing day of the year, far from it!
