South Coast Worktops
Website Proposal
We are pleased to present a proposal for the development of a website for South Coast Worktops (SCW). Based in Bournemouth, the company specialises in the supply and fitting of kitchen worktops, with a particular focus on granite and quartz worktops. The aim of the website is to showcase the company’s products and services in a user-friendly manner, and provide potential customers with an overview of the customer experience from choosing their worktop style all the way through to installation. The website will be built using WordPress and will be designed and developed by Digital Storm.
Overview of the website:
The website will feature a comprehensive catalogue of South Coast Worktops’ products, including high-quality images and detailed descriptions of each worktop (supplied by SCW). Users will be able to filter the products based on material, style, and colour to find the perfect worktop for their kitchen. In addition, the website will provide a breakdown of the customer experience, from initial consultation and measurement to final installation. This will help potential customers understand the process and feel confident in their decision to work with South Coast Worktops.

The website design will be modern, clean, and easy to navigate, with a focus on showcasing the products and providing a smooth user experience. The colour scheme will be based on the company’s branding, with a predominance of white, grey and black colours. Is WordPress the Best
Content Management System?
Yes. Of course it is. We’ve got years (and years and years) of experience designing and building websites on WordPress and we have never been swayed. When you build your site using a content management system (CMS) like WordPress, you’re opening your business up to never-ending creativity and design ideas that make your business stand out. Don’t get us wrong, we’ve worked with clients that are fully committed to their BigCommerce or Wix website. That’s fine, there is still loads we can do to make your website unique. But when it comes to custom websites, WordPress is the way to go. Whether you want a streamlined backend that you and your team can easily edit and add content to or a perfectly executed eCommerce solution, we can make that happen for you with WordPress. Come on now. You’ve messed around with Wix, SquareSpace and Shopify. It’s time to join the big boys and challenge your competitors head on.
WordPress Integrations
It’s all very well us telling you that WordPress is the best CMS, but unless you’ve seen it in action you might be mistaking us for sales people. Firstly, we’re not sales people. We build websites on WordPress because of the range of possibilities it offers our designers and developers. Secondly, the best websites in the world are built on WordPress. Seriously. Take a look at all of the award winning websites from the last year. None of them look alike, do they? That’s WordPress for you. With so many plugins and integrations available, WordPress websites are able to take on their own personality. They make sure your SME stands out from the crowd.

Our knowledge spans across various content management systems and we’re passionate about making your site look and feel as bespoke as your business. A website isn’t just a website. WordPress Web Design Agency
vs. Freelance Designer
If you’re thinking about a new website, you’ve probably had the ‘agency vs. freelance WordPress website builder’ discussion. Whichever one you choose to work with, you’ll end up with a new WordPress website at the end. The difference is in the style of working. When you work with a web design agency, you’ve got access to a team of people that have different areas of expertise. Your new website will be designed by our graphic design team with input from the marketing and development teams. Depending on the web design agency you choose to work with, you’ll have access to a variety of tools, resources and opinions. Freelancer WordPress website designers will still get the job done. After you’ve provided a brief they’ll be able to design and develop a website on a much tighter budget. The main difference is you’ll be working with one individual as opposed to a team of experts. Tight deadlines might be a problem so it’s worth thinking about your needs before you make a decision.
